Char’s Bio

Char is a native New Yorker who currently lives on a farm in Upstate New York. She has been married for thirty-four years to Don, a retired Air Force man, and their extended family is scattered all over the United States, including Alaska.

She’s worked a variety of jobs, from farm hand to costume designer to fiscal accountant. During their marriage, Char and Don have visited all fifty states. They’re still not sure which one they like the best!

Char has been writing for about ten years. She started out writing poetry, then short stories. Through the years she more or less taught herself the dynamics of writing, and has written many stories and even a few novels that will never see the light of day. Char feels it’s time well-spent in helping her to become a better writer.

When she’s not writing, she is a voracious reader, tends a huge vegetable garden and helps to maintain a sixty-acre farm.
